Felted landscapes Art Gallery
By felt artist Janine Jacques
Welcome to my Felted Landscapes Art Gallery, where you’ll find a collection of my favourite handmade felt artworks created over the years. As a felt artist working with wool and mixed fibres, I have been crafting felted landscapes since 2016, capturing the beauty of nature.
Available Felted Landscapes
Each felted landscape artwork is labeled to indicate availability – whether it has been sold, is available through another gallery, or can be purchased directly from my website. Most my originals are available as art print – if you can’t find the right print in my art print shop please email me to order one.

Bringing Landscapes to Life Through Felt Art
My felt landscapes are inspired by real places I have visited, each piece reflecting the mood, emotion, and essence of the scene. I take my own reference photos, creating a mood board that helps me recall the colours, textures, sounds, and atmosphere of the location.
Each artwork begins with a charcoal drawing or collage, followed by an oil pastel painting, which helps me explore composition, texture, and colour. I then translate these studies into the felted wool paintings, using soft merino wool, silk, chiffon, and other natural fibres to build expressive textures and depth.
Why Choose Felted Landscape Art?
Unlike traditional landscape paintings, felted landscapes offer a unique tactile quality. The use of wool brings warmth and softness, adding a sense of comfort and tranquility to the artwork. My process blends painterly mark-making with the richness of textile art, creating pieces that are both visually and emotionally engaging.
Each piece tells a story – not just of a place, but of a moment in time, a cherished memory, and the feeling of being immersed in nature.
