This is the first in a series of oil pastel paintings based on this view autumn scenery of Leighton Reservoir near Masham, near the druids temple. It was a lovely autumn day with a lovely light on the fields.
I fell in love with the colours in this landscape. I do love autumn for all the beautiful colours you see as the seasons change.
The original artwork measures 22.5cm (H) x 22.5cm (W).
Unframed:- The final autumn scenery painting is mounted in a double thickness acid free mount measuring 38cm (H) x 37.2cm (w) and posted out ready for you to take to a framer to choose the frame.

Drawing on my degree in Fine Art, I create a charcoal drawing first, then a colourful oil pastel painting of the scene. I use both of these to create the fibre landscape from.
