Scottish seascape art of Bass rock a view from Belhaven beach, in Scotland, created using charcoal and chalk.
It was August on a chilly, rainy, windy day in Scotland. We arrived at Belhaven beach wrapped up warm. The sky was dark and moody and the rain softly pitter pattered around us.
The beach was mostly deserted – just the odd dog walker.
Just the sound of the waves, rain and our children laughing in the water, warm in their wet suits. The rain continued to fall softly. We were on holiday so had to ‘live for the moment’.
The original Scottish seascape art measures approximately 19cm (H) x 19cm (W).
Unframed:- The final artwork is mounted in an acid free mount (12″x12″) and posted out ready for you to take to a framer to choose the frame.

Drawing on my degree in Fine Art, I create a charcoal drawing first, then a colourful oil pastel painting of the scene. I use both of these to create the fibre landscape from.
