Felting Workshops
I currently have three different felting workshops available. I teach in small groups so I can give individual advice and support. Each workshop will have between 4 – 8 people.

Felting workshops available:-
Coming soon – 4 hour beginners wet felting workshop.
You will learn how to create a specific landscape of a poppy field.
It will be taught with step by step instructions. The workshop is aimed at those who want to learn how to wet felt but prefer to follow step by step instructions first before trying their new skills on a landscape of their choice.
At the end you will be able to take home a felted poppy field scene like the one pictured. If you wished to you could then further embellish it at home.
I will be providing all the equipment needed on the day.
Two day wet felting landscape workshop.
On day one you will learn how to wet felt a landscape of your own choice. I will be giving step by step instructions so it is very suitable for beginners or those more experienced.
On day two you will needle felt*(please see the info opposite) into your wet felted landscape to add more details. This felting workshop is aimed at beginners who would like to create a wet felted landscape of their choice.
I will be providing all the equipment needed on the day.

Time: 10am – 3pm
Cost: £150 per person for both days (£75 per day)
Days: Friday & Saturday (so you can enjoy a long weekend and have Sunday free to explore our lovely area)
Private Workshops
Do you have a group of 4-8 people, I’d be happy to arrange a private workshop at a venue and date of your choice. I can recommend Clifford Village Hall – it’s a great space and very reasonably priced.

Needle Felt a landscape workshop – 3 to 4 hours
This is a beginners workshop to introduce you to needle felting. You will learn how to needle felt a simple landscape onto a piece of material.
I will be giving step by step instructions and individual help during the workshop.
You can work sat down for the duration of this workshop. It’s a very relaxing craft. See the notes on needle felting* for more info.
I will be providing all the equipment needed on the day.
*needle felting
Needle felting is not sewing. Needle felting uses a special barbed needle and you stab small pieces of wool fibres into the wet felted landscape. It is easy to do and also very therapeutic (as long as you miss your fingers!).
WAIVER
By booking a workshop that involves needle felting as part of the workshop, you understand felting needles are used to stab the wool into the material.
You understand there is a risk to stabbing your fingers with the needles. You are booking the workshop understanding and accept personal responsibility for any injury.

If there are no workshops showing in my shop it means they will be fully booked. If you wish to go on a waiting list please email me your name, which workshop you’d like to attend, your phone number so I can call you if there is a last minute space.

* If I need to cancel for any reason you will be offered a choice of a full refund or transferring to a future workshop date.
* Please do not attend if you have just come down with a contagious illness (cold/ flu/ tummy bug and of course Covid) If you are ill and need to cancel please get in touch a.s.a.p. so I can see if I can fill your place and you will be offered a new date to attend.
